Esme Island- The Honeymoon (Faith and Edward)

Faith had only looked up to see Edward at the door, he eyes looked filled with tears as she fumbled her hands in her lap. She hung her head low; looking away from Edward and Carlisle. "Thank you Carlisle." She looked up to him with a slight smile, then looked away again as she watched him walk out of the door.

nodding to Carlisle and watched him leave, Edward moved to sit on the bed beside Faith "I don't know what i can say, I'm sorry for one, for not..thinking" he looked to her slightly and sighed, with his thumb he brushed away an escaped tear "I love you Faith, and it pains me to see you like this already you scream fragile, and i don't want to break you..this...child" he struggled with the word "is..killing you Faith, and you whish to keep it..fine..but then what?"

"Why is it so hard for you not to turn you, this child is more or less a vampire and will go on to live with you, forever. Would you rather have me dead...and just have the child? We could be a family forever, its only a couple of days of pain. I think this child is putting me through more than turning me would." She explained, she placed her hand on his and looked him in the eyes. "Edward, I love you. You know that and I love our child. Im not going to get rid of it, just because its killing me. You promised me you would turn me, why not now..Don't you want this child? Its part of us both." She whispered slowly, looking up as her gaze met his.

he looked to the side but held her hand "it hurts Faith.." he said looking back to her "watching you detrioate(sp) each day, i hate it knowing i can do nothing, i can't turn you until the...child..is out if i turned you now the pheatus(sp) could react and kill you instantly" he said then bite his lip slightly "truthfully, at this moment, no..no Faith i don't want a child that's killing you, I love you and i don't want to loose you"

"Well, Im going to have this child Edward, then once I give birth..Then will you turn me? I don't care how much pain I have to endure, I want this." She looked to him and pressed her forehead to his, "Please Edward, see this how I do. You promised me.."

Shadow tapped "faith ?"
she looked around "Faith i was worried i heard you were with child how you holding up "
She hugged faith softly
She knew how edward felt about the child and saw how faith felt

Carlisle returned a little while later. He'd gone hunting near by and had had his fill of blood. His butterscotch eyes seemed to dance has he appeared at the door of Faith's room. "I hope I am not interrupting things; I shall leave if you would like" he said in his compassionate voice.

"No, Enter Carlisle..you are always welcome." Faith smiled as she turned back to Shadow, "I shall be fine, I know Im in good hands." She smiled and looked back to Carlisle.

Shadow smiled softly "yes i know Im more worried how your doing and i came perosnly cant make head nor tale of edwards rants and worrys "
Shadow smiled softly at her

"Thank you, Faith" he said, before entering and dropping down onto the sofa in the room; not wanting to get to close to Edward and Faith, but to still stay close.

he looked to Faith "we'll talk more later.." he assured her brushing a kiss on her forehead then he looked to Shadow and nodded in gretting glad to see you have come Shadow, thank you" he then heard Carlisle before seeing him "it's fine as Faith says"

Carlisle nodded and closed his eyes and though asleep; but to him it was in thought. Rembering the time he'd met Esme, his true love, his mate, his wife. Rembering everything that he and his family had been through.

Shadow smiled softly "its okay Edward i said i would"

Gary stopped pacing and went outside, staring out into the forest. 'It shouldn't have been like this, it's all Edward's fault. She's either going to die or become a monster. Why didn't he just wait?! He should have known any possible risks...' he thought angrily. He clenched his hands into tight fists and growled quietly.
